Today I was reminded once again that six months is such a wonderful age for portraits!  Baby Alex’s family brought him to my home-studio for the first of his First Year of Life Special sessions; he’ll do another session at nine months and then a third session for his first birthday.  His was the sweetest, close-knit family who are giving these sessions as a gift to Alex’s mommy!  It was heartwarming to see just how much they all absolutely adored little Alex… as did I!  For being such a little guy, he has a great joy within him, and is such a beautiful baby soul.  He and I spent his session laughing together, and I think I may have taught him how to blow raspberries! 😉  Sorry, Alex’s mommy and daddy!

I really enjoyed meeting you all, Jocelyn, Lupe, and Jeff!  Thank you for bringing your little mister for his portraits, and I hope that you, and Alex’s mommy, enjoy your “sneak peek”! 😀

Today I had the absolute pleasure to meet the joyful, beautiful eight-month-old baby, Ali!  This little guy was so full of personality, and six-toothed grins, that his cheerful presence was infectious!  He came through my door smiling, and left with a toothy grin!  I was thrilled to be able to capture all of the different “faces” of Baby Ali, including a few sleeping portraits as well.   He and his wonderful mommy made my day a better one 🙂

Thank you so very much for coming to my home-studio for Ali’s portraits today, Khadija!  I really enjoyed getting to know you and Ali ♥  I hope that this small “peek” at Ali’s portraits makes you and Adem smile, too!

It’s amazing how much small people change in just a matter of months!  I felt so blessed to take portraits of Baby Bryson when he was only a few days old, last August… when he was so very little!  Now at six months, Bryson is HUGE and has this terrific personality that is blossoming before our eyes!  During his Six-Month Portrait Session, Bryson was a “one man band” — singing (as babies do, of course!), chewing on some bells, and beating them like a drum!  He made me giggle with delight!   Bryson is a gorgeous little soul, and it fills my heart with such joy to see how wonderfully sweet he has grown ♥

This August, as part of the First Year of Life Special, Bryson will come for his First Birthday “Cake Smash” Portrait Session, and I can’t wait to see just how much he’s changed by then! … and it will be so fun to see just what he’ll do with his very own delicious, and wonderfully messy, cake! 😉

This is Newborn Bryson... and Bryson now! My, how he's grown! 🙂

Five and half month old Baby Braden is a perfect age for portraits… he is a bright little soul, so easy-going and full of smiles and personality!  What a beautiful baby boy who is so completely adorable that he looks like he’s out of a fairytale! ♥  Not only is he a baby version of Prince Charming, but Baby Braden came prepared for his session with newly-learned “acrobatics”.  His daddy told me that he just learned to roll over last week and, today, he had a terrific time doing exactly that each time we put him on his tummy for portraits …which would make his mommy, daddy, and I roll (with laughter)! 😀  Little Braden just recently grew in two brand-new teeth, too, and I was so excited to be able to capture those tiny white treasures with my camera! Thank you, Elli and Scott, for bringing Braden for his baby portraits today!   You are such laid-back and wonderful parents, and I really enjoyed meeting you!  I hope that you enjoy this “sneak peek”! 🙂
