Yesterday I met a new little friend, Sophia, who was only a week old!  She did all of those wonderful newborn things that endear me so much, like squeak and nuzzle into my neck when I held her.  I get all warm and fuzzy just thinking about her!  The Mother Goose Nursery rhyme says that little girls are “made of sugar and spice and everything nice”, and I couldn’t agree more!

My favorite part of yesterday happened when Sophia was all bundled up in her seat ready to leave.  I was saying goodbye to her, and she cooed back to me!  What a smart little baby! :)…Luckily, I have her mommy as a witness to verify this story 😉

I spent the morning with a new itty-bitty baby whose mommy and daddy adorably referred to as “Z in the Pod” while he was in his mommy’s tummy … and now that their Z in the Pod is finally here, Baby Zane is such a cute little sugar pea! 🙂  Zane was so fun to cuddle with and had the sweetest pouty lips; I couldn’t stop photographing them!

Thank you, Rachel and Alex, for giving me the opportunity to share in your grand adventure into parenthood!  I’m so glad that I got to meet your precious baby boy today!  ♥

Baby Jackson is just ten days old, and the cutest little redhead I know! 🙂  He was so fun to snuggle with today for his very first official session with me, though I suppose I’ve already photographed him in his mommy’s tummy 😉   His mommy and auntie brought Jackson to my home-studio, and I can’t help but think that he is going to have so much fun with his mommy, daddy, and aunties as he grows up!  How lucky he will be!

In the last three days, I’ve had the joy of meeting three new little friends: Yuri, Mason, and Zoe!  What fun I had capturing all of those magical, miraculous details that make them uniquely them: baby lips, toes, fingers, eyelashes, and soft wispy hair!   These itty-bitty people are big reminders that it’s the simple, fleeting moments in life that make all of our journeys so worthwhile 🙂

Thank you, mommies and daddies, for bringing your brand-new bubs to visit me!  I am so lucky to have met them ♥

Today, tiny little Reagan came to visit me with her mommy, daddy, and grandparents.  What a pretty little girl she is with long eyelashes and the cutest dimples!  She was so sweet and soft, and made newborn squeaks every so often.  My favorite part of her shoot was when we put her in some new ruffly bloomers that I bought especially for my photo sessions.  I could barely stand how cute she was all dressed up in them! ♥

Thank you, Jen and Dustin, for allowing me the opportunity to share in such a special time in your lives.  I feel lucky to have captured some of your little girl’s newborn sweetness!  I hope that you enjoy your “peek” at Reagan’s portraits 🙂
