How pleased I was to meet a new little friend today named Harper! Baby Harper is just six days old and already full of a wide repertoire of expressions… frowns, smiles, and a captivating Elvis lip-curl! (admittedly, one of the most adorable things that I’ve ever seen!) Not only that, but little Harper has the most magical little nose… with two heart-shaped nostrils! I spent my morning cuddling with Baby Harper and my one heart feels so happy because of her! ♥
One thing that always melts my heart at newborn sessions is the pure love that parents show for their brand-new babies. Babies bring us all together in a way that no one else can, and I adore them for that. One of my all-time favorite novels is To Kill a Mockingbird, written by another Harper…Harper Lee. Lee once said, “I think there’s just one kind of folks. Folks.” And it’s true. All people have similar hopes, dreams… and hearts …and people love their babies with all of them.
Thank you, Sherri, for giving me the opportunity to share in celebrating the joy of your little girl’s new life! I hope that you, Grammie Glenda, and Harper’s daddy enjoy her portraits 🙂
