Newborn Session
Newborn sessions take place in my cozy La Mesa home studio, where everything is designed to keep babies calm, comfortable, and safe. This peaceful studio environment allows for soft lighting, beautiful styling, and a relaxed experience for new parents.
The newborn stage is beautifully fleeting. These early days pass in a blur of sleepy snuggles, tiny stretches, and brand-new love — and this session is designed to preserve it all.
Baby Bean Portraits offers full newborn photography sessions in San Diego that are calm, baby-led, and intentionally unhurried so we can safely capture your growing family’s first memories together.
Milestone & Sitter Session
Babies grow and change so quickly during their first year. Milestone sessions are designed to capture the sweet in-between stages — the smiles, the curiosity, the chubby cheeks, and the growing personality that appears almost overnight.
Perfect For:
• 3–4 Month Personality Sessions
Your baby is beginning to smile, make eye contact, and show their first big expressions. This stage is full of eye contact, tiny giggles, and sweet interaction.
• 6–9 Month Sitter Sessions
One of the most loved stages! Babies can sit independently, laugh easily, and show tons of personality — but aren’t yet running away from the camera.
These sessions full of baby rolls, gummy smiles, and curious expressions beautifully bridge the gap between newborn photos and your baby’s first birthday celebration.
First Birthday Session
Your baby’s first birthday is a once-in-a-lifetime milestone — and the perfect way to celebrate the end of the first year with joyful, colorful, personality-filled portraits.
Baby Bean Portraits offers first birthday cake smash photography in San Diego designed to be fun, stress-free, and beautifully styled from start to finish.
This session is part of the Baby’s First Year Bundle and captures your little one’s growing personality, giggles, curiosity, and of course… the cake smash magic.
