Baby Jackson is just ten days old, and the cutest little redhead I know!
He was so fun to snuggle with today for his very first official session with me, though I suppose I’ve already photographed him in his mommy’s tummy
His mommy and auntie brought Jackson to my home-studio, and I can’t help but think that he is going to have so much fun with his mommy, daddy, and aunties as he grows up! How lucky he will be!
Thank you, Bethany, for giving me the opportunity to share in such a special time for your family! I hope that you, Jeff, and Auntie Sarah enjoy your sweet Jackson’s portraits! ♥

After a handful of newborns in the last few weeks, it was great fun to have the pleasure of taking the wonderful Debbie’s belly portraits today! Debbie is an adorable mother of two (almost)
, with a sweet little boy named Alex and his little brother or sister on the way. Debbie is doing the unthinkable for many (probably me, too, when the time comes)… waiting to find out if the baby is a boy or girl on its birthday! While he is deployed for now, Daddy has the important job of choosing the baby’s name. How fun!
Thank you, Debbie and Alex, for coming to my home studio today! Here is a little peek of your portraits for you!

In the last three days, I’ve had the joy of meeting three new little friends: Yuri, Mason, and Zoe! What fun I had capturing all of those magical, miraculous details that make them uniquely them: baby lips, toes, fingers, eyelashes, and soft wispy hair! These itty-bitty people are big reminders that it’s the simple, fleeting moments in life that make all of our journeys so worthwhile
Thank you, mommies and daddies, for bringing your brand-new bubs to visit me! I am so lucky to have met them ♥

…did I have a fun and busy week! I met six new little people, and was lucky enough to capture their first days of life! My heart is singing and so so happy!
Meet Easton, Olivia, Robbie, Waverly, Carson, and Levi! ♥♥♥♥♥♥

Today, tiny little Reagan came to visit me with her mommy, daddy, and grandparents. What a pretty little girl she is with long eyelashes and the cutest dimples! She was so sweet and soft, and made newborn squeaks every so often. My favorite part of her shoot was when we put her in some new ruffly bloomers that I bought especially for my photo sessions. I could barely stand how cute she was all dressed up in them! ♥
Thank you, Jen and Dustin, for allowing me the opportunity to share in such a special time in your lives. I feel lucky to have captured some of your little girl’s newborn sweetness! I hope that you enjoy your “peek” at Reagan’s portraits

Baby Preston, just eight days new, came to visit me today with his mommy, daddy, and grandma. He is such a beautiful newborn, with the most kissable soft pouty lips and long eyelashes. When he grows a bit older, he’s going to break quite a few hearts!
The tiny mister was a perfect “baby-model”, letting me put him in some fun “props”, including a knitted “peanut”! While all cozy, snuggled inside of the peanut, Preston must have known that he looked so so cute… because he smiled for the camera! What a happy little peanut he is to be doted on by such a sweet family! ♥
Thank you, Lizzie and Christian, for bringing your brand-new boy today! I think he is adorable! I hope that you enjoy Preston’s photographic debut!

Yesterday I met a happy, smiley guy named Kailub, who is just nine months old. He was the sweetest little model for me, and was perfectly happy to pose in an adorable monkey hat and sit in a multitude of baskets and chairs! Not only do Kailub’s parents love their little boy to pieces, apparently so does he — every time he sees his own picture, a huge grin spreads across his face. This trick is especially useful for whenever Kailub starts crying; his mommy and daddy show him a book with his picture in it and, in the blink of an eye, he goes from crying to smiling! I witnessed this wonderful feat, and it was hysterical!
Thank you, Nadia and Mike, for bringing your gorgeous little guy to my home-studio for his portraits! I think Kailub is really going to like this!
…Here is a “sneak peek” just for him!

This holiday weekend I met the most amazingly adorable family — Mommy Beth, Daddy Paul, and Baby Mia, who is going to be a “big” sister soon!
How fun it was to not only take some beautiful photos of mommy, but also of the angelic Miss Mia who arrived smiling away for her mommy’s belly session. Mia is just such a happy and sweet little girl that she is going to be so good as a big sister. Beth told me that Mia likes to “feed” the baby Cheerios, through her mommy’s belly button! Ha!
Mia looked impossibly cute sitting with her gorgeous mommy amongst the wildflowers, and hugging her mommy’s belly. Can you tell I fell in love with her?! ♥
Thank you, Beth, Paul, and sweet Mia, for a really delightful session yesterday! I can’t wait to see little Mia again and to meet her baby sister when she arrives! I hope that you enjoy your “sneak peek”!

Yesterday evening I had the pleasure of meeting a really fun and lovely woman, Laura, and her husband, Curtis. This couple was just so easy-going and funny, too! Laura’s personality reminded me of my own mother; she is a rare combination of being up-for-anything involving fun but also being really grounded at the same time. I’m very certain that Laura will be a wonderful mother!
Thank you, Laura and Curtis! I had a blast, laughing with you at the beach, and I can’t wait to meet your little “bean” in just a month or so! ♥ Enjoy your “sneak peek”!

The incredibly wonderful and sweet Nancy told me that she and her husband, Nolan, are “beach people”, so they met me there today for a really terrific maternity photo session! Nancy even brought along some creative props, too; my favorite was a parasol they had used in their wedding! Nancy looked absolutely striking, and the parasol was a really nice touch.
Nancy and Nolan are expecting a little boy in about a month… it’s so fun to imagine that their little boy might follow in his daddy’s footsteps and become a little surfer dude one day ♥
Thank you, Nancy and Nolan, for a great evening tonight! I’ll be seeing you soon when you are officially a family of three!
Here is a “peek” at your portraits!
